What it is

IT Days is a two-day software and technology conference in Cluj-Napoca, run by Today Software Magazine. The 2026 edition, on 11 and 12 November, is the 14th. The site keeps an archive for every year back to 2013, and the 2025 edition took place on 12 and 13 November, so mid-November is the usual slot.

This is a professional developer conference, not a city-policy event. It appears on futurehubs because it is one of the recurring technology events that make up Cluj’s tech calendar, alongside Techsylvania and Cluj Innovation Days.

How the programme works

The conference runs parallel tracks over two days. The topics listed on the homepage range from products and leadership, management and startups to artificial intelligence, automotive, security, software architecture, programming, testing, DevOps and a hands-on lab. The 2026 speakers page lists people from companies such as UiPath, Endava, Bosch and BMW TechWorks Romania, as well as academics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. We could not find a 2026 agenda published.

Treat parts of the site with care. The featured speakers on the 2026 homepage are the same as on the 2025 site, and the homepage names Cluj Innovation Park while the page also carries the address of a different conference space. Check the venue before you travel.

Who goes and how to take part

The audience is developers, testers, architects and technical managers. Tickets are sold on the registration page: a two-day, full-access conference ticket costs 160 euro + VAT and includes coffee breaks, lunch and an evening networking session; a group package for five people costs 650 euro + VAT. The same page describes full online access to all tracks over the two days, but it does not make clear which ticket includes it, so ask the organiser if you plan to follow remotely.

Why it matters for cities

For a city like Cluj-Napoca, events such as IT Days are part of how a local technology sector keeps its people learning from each other and from visiting speakers. For readers interested in the city itself, see our Cluj-Napoca profile.
