Nacka municipality’s 2026 progress report for Framgång Fisksätra, its programme for the Fisksätra district, shows that safety is increasing, crime is decreasing and more residents are getting into work. The report describes a positive development in the area. It is the latest account of a programme that Nacka turned into a permanent initiative in 2025.

What the report points to

The municipality links the trend to measures introduced in recent years. Activities for children in the new multi-sports hall are well attended, more children are starting preschool, and municipal adult education has been offered in the area since spring 2025. Through municipal guidance at the library and a family guide at the family centre, more residents receive support from the municipality.

Helena Håkansson (L), chair of the municipal executive board’s safety committee, said it is encouraging to see that the work in Fisksätra is producing results. Filip Wiljander (M), municipal commissioner and first vice chair of the same committee, said: “We are taking steps in the right direction when it comes to safety, education and work.” He added that the municipality will build on what works and focus on the challenges that remain.

Cooperation between local actors

The municipality describes close cooperation as a key success factor. The partners named are the municipality, the police, Stena Fastigheter, local associations and other local actors.

Jenny Rivas, strategist for Framgång Fisksätra, said the work becomes more effective and successful when all actors in the area know each other and cooperate. According to her, this also makes it possible to use the broad knowledge and strong engagement that exist in the area.

A permanent programme

Framgång Fisksätra started in 2022 and has been a permanent initiative since 2025. The work is carried out over the long term and in close cooperation with local actors. Its stated aims are to strengthen safety, improve living conditions and contribute to a positive development in the area.
